Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

 

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your surfboard or product must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Because our surfboards ship via motor freight, special return procedures apply (see below).

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide detailed return instructions. Please note that both parcel and freight return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to shipping damage, manufacturing defect, or a shipping error on our part.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Freight Shipping, Damages, and Delivery Inspection

All surfboards that exceed parcel limitation sizes (which vary by carrier) are shipped via freight due to their size. (As a general guideline boards over 8' in length will need to ship via freight whereas boards and other supplies below that length can ship via standard parcel service; however, this is not guaranteed and is subject to change.)

When your board arrives:

  • Inspect the packaging and board carefully before signing for delivery.

  • If there is any visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt and take clear photos of both the packaging and the board before signing.

  • If damage is discovered after unboxing, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and a description of the issue.

This inspection process is required for us to file a claim with the freight carrier and to replace or refund your board. Claims submitted beyond 48 hours may not be eligible for coverage.

 

Damages and Issues

Regardless of how your surfboard or product has shipped, please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Restocking Fee

All eligible returns that are not due to damage, defect, or an error on our part are subject to a 15% restocking fee. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and administrative costs associated with processing returned items.

The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount once your return has been received and inspected. Original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Custom boards (special orders or personalized items)
  • Deposits on Custom Boards (Cannot be refunded after design work or materials purchasing has commenced - Generally 48 hours after purchase.)
  • Sale items or gift cards

European Union 14 day cooling off period

 
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. That said, the return shipping costs whether shipped via parcel or freight will be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to shipping damage, manufacturing defect, or a shipping error on our part.

Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
