Frequently asked questions - Standard Models

How heavy is the board compared to a foam longboard?

Surprisingly close. Paulownia is one of the lightest structural woods on Earth, so you get the glide of a classic log without feeling like you’re dragging around a coffee table.

Are finished board completely glassed and ready to surf?

Yes — fully shaped, glassed, sanded, polished, and surf-ready. You just add fins, waves, and stoke!

Are the fin boxes compatible with standard Futures fins?

Yep! Every board comes with a 2+1 Futures setup pre-installed. The center is a standard Futures 1-Shot 10.75" fin box and the thrusters are Futures ILT boxes. No adapters, no weird proprietary hardware.

Can I add custom art to a finished model?

Absolutely. Most riders do. Your artwork is embedded into the wood itself — not a sticker, not a decal, absolutely not clip art.

What maintenance does a wooden board require?

Treat it like a normal surfboard. Don’t leave it in a hot car, rinse it after surfing, and resist hanging it on your wall unless you’re going for the “functional art collector” lifestyle.

Can I change the fin layout, rails, or contours?

For full customization, check out our Custom Build option. The Standard Models are pre-engineered for performance and dialed-in hydrodynamics.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. Longboards can't ship via normal parcel delivery and will need to go via motor freight. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
